The truth will set you free!

You are free my brother. You are liberate. You cannot save yourself but God alone. No more wearying yourselves out trying to repent of your sin. Any way your works are like filthy rag. Your faith in God is what that saves you. Whatever is not from faith is sin.

1.You are justified by faith alone and your believed in God was considered as righteousness. Whatever is not from faith is sin.

Romans 4:1-6
English Standard Version (ESV)

Abraham Justified by Faith
4 What then shall we say was gained by[a] Abraham, (A)our forefather according to the flesh? 2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but (B)not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? (C)“Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.” 4 Now (D)to the one who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. 5 And to the one who does not work but (E)believes in[b] him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness, 6 just as David also speaks of the blessing of the one to whom God counts righteousness apart from works

Romans 14:22
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
The faith which you have, have [j]as your own conviction before God. Happy is he who (AM)does not condemn himself in what he approves. 23 But (AN)he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because his eating is not from faith; and whatever is not from faith is sin.

Galatians 2:20
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 I have been (A)crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but (B)Christ lives in me; and [a]
the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in (C)the Son of God, who (D)loved me and (E)gave Himself up for me.

Romans 5:1
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
5 (A)Therefore, having been justified by faith, [a](B)we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

1 Peter 1:5
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
5 who are (A)protected by the power of God (B)through faith for (C)a salvation ready (D)to be revealed in the last time.

2.Jesus is the only way to save you.

1 Timothy 2:5
New King James Version (NKJV)

John 14:6
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
6 Jesus *said to him, “I am (A)the way, and (B)the truth, and (C)the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

3.Be careful not to think too highly of yourself

Romans 12:3
English Standard Version (ESV)
For (A)by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you (B)not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, (C)each according to (D)the measure of faith that God has assigned.

A thorn was given to Paul in his flesh to prevent him from exalting himself because of the surpassing revelation reveal to him by God, hence taking away the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
Because of the surpassing greatness of the (A)revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a (B)thorn in the flesh, a (C)messenger of Satan to [a]torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I implored the Lord (D)three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for (E)power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather (F)boast [b]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10 Therefore (G)I am well content with weaknesses, with [c]insults, with (H)distresses, with (I)persecutions, with (J)difficulties, (K)for Christ’s sake; for (L)when I am weak, then I am strong.

4.No one is good except God alone.

Luke 18:19
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
19 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.

Do not assume that because you bring friend to church you can save yourself from the wrath of God. Or by not falling into a particular sin for 10 year makes you right before God.

Neither falling to bring friends nor failing to stop a particular sin make you more of a sinner either.

No one is good before God eye. Every inclination of the human heart is evil.

Genesis 8:21
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
21 The Lord (A)smelled the soothing aroma; and the Lord said [a]to Himself, “I will never again (B)curse the ground on account of man, for (C)the [b]intent of man’s heart is evil from his youth; (D)and I will never again [c]destroy every living thing, as I have done.

Romans 3:12
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
12 All have turned aside, together they have become useless;
There is none who does good,
There is not even one.”

Therefore you should never have one good thought concerning yourself in life.

As the word passes a judgement upon our hearts,so it passes judgement upon our ways; and when the thoughts in our hearts and ways agree with the judgement which the word gives of both, then both heart and ways are good, because both agrees with it.~ Pilgrim Progress

Thus we have to be humble and agrees with what the word says of us.

And all our (B)righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;

And our (D)iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
14 “Do not fear, you (A)worm Jacob, you men of Israel;
I will help you,” declares the Lord, “[a]and (B)your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

17 that the (A)God of our Lord Jesus Christ, (B)the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of (C)wisdom and of (D)revelation in the [a]knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that (E)the eyes of your heart [b]may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the (F)hope of His (G)calling, what are (H)the riches of the glory of (I)His inheritance in (J)the [c]saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. (K)These are in accordance with the working of the (L)strength of His might

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Matthew 11:28-30
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
28 “(A)Come to Me, all [a]who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and (B)learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and (C)you will find rest for your souls. 30 For (D)My yoke is [b]easy and My burden is light.”

14.There is nothing you can do to earn or lost your salvation. Every thing is determine by the sovereignty of God. You only need to submit to his will and be satisfied in him. For God is most glorify when you are most satisfied in Him by crying out to him in petition and supplication.

God is the Lover and you are the beloved. And God being the lover desires to Love you and gives you whatever you ask of Him according to His righteousness.

By contrast it is our self-righteous act that annoys God the most when we are not asking him for help.

15.If we emphasize faith, it doesn't mean that we can forget about the law and be complacent with being right with God.

only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.

2 Thessalonians 3:10-13
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
10 For even (A)when we were with you, we used to give you this order: (B)if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. 11 For we hear that some among you are (C)leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like (D)busybodies. 12 Now such persons we command and (E)exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to (F)work in quiet fashion and eat their own bread. 13 But as for you, (G)brethren, (H)do not grow weary of doing good.

16.The Law only amplified your sin. Because of that grace also increases. However you are not free to sin due to the abundant grace given. By no means!

Romans 5:20-22
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
20 [a](A)The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, (B)grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as (C)sin reigned in death, even so (D)grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

18.Be alert and careful!

The prospect exists that you and I who believe we are chosen and called and justified might slide into a slow process of indifference and hardening and eventually fall away and reject Christ and put him to an open shame. We may actually come to a point where there is no return, because we have been forsaken utterly by God. ~John Piper http://www.desiringgod.org/resource-library/sermons/when-is-saving-repentance-impossible

Hebrews 6:4-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come— and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame.

1 Peter 5:8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
(A)Be of sober spirit, (B)be on the alert. Your adversary, (C)the devil, prowls around like a roaring (D)lion, seeking someone to devour.

12 If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall.

1 Timothy 4:16 New Living Translation (NLT)
16 Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.
19.If you are chosen by God, you will not deliberately Sin against Him.

1 John 3:9-10
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
9 No one who is [a](A)born of God (B)practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin,
because he is [b]born of God. 10 By this the (C)children of God and the (D)children of the devil are obvious: [c]anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who (E)does not love his(F)brother.

Hebrews 6:6; 9-12
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
6 and then have fallen away, it is (A)impossible to renew them again to repentance, [a](B)since they again
crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.

Hebrews 6:9-11
New Living Translation (NLT)
Dear friends, even though we are talking this way, we really don’t believe it applies to you. We are confident that you are meant for better things, things that come with salvation. 10 For God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers,[a] as you still do.

2 Corinthians 5:14
New Living Translation (NLT)

10 For this reason (A)I endure all things for (B)the sake of those who are chosen, (C)so that they also may obtain the (D) salvation which is in (E)Christ Jesus and with it (F)eternal glory.

Philippians 2:12-18
New Living Translation (NLT)
12 Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. 13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
14 Do everything without complaining and arguing, 15 so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. 16 Hold firmly to the word of life; then, on the day of Christ’s return, I will be proud that I did not run the race in vain and that my work was not useless. 17 But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God,[a] just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy.18 Yes, you should rejoice, and I will share your joy.

21.Do not be anxious.

Philippians 4:6-8 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Luke 10:41-42
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “(A)Martha, Martha, you are (B)worried and bothered about so many things; 42 (C)but only one thing is necessary, for (D)Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”

22.Continue to relie on the lord and be at peace!

John 14:27

And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Romans 8:38
New Living Translation (NLT)

24.God will equip you in every good thing to do His will.

Hebrews 13:20-21
New American Standard Bible (NASB)

Benediction
20 Now (A)the God of peace, who (B)brought up from the dead the (C)great Shepherd of the sheep [a]through (D)the blood of the (E)eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, 21 (F)equip you in every good thing to do His will, (G)working in us that (H)which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, (I)to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Jeremiah 29:13 New American Standard Bible (NASB) (Noted "When" not "If" )

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
2 The Lord is (A)my [a]rock and (B)my fortress and my (C)deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My (D)shield and the (E)horn of my salvation, my (F)stronghold

Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
he leads me beside peaceful streams.
3     He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
    bringing honor to his name.
4 Even when I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
I will not be afraid,
for you are close beside me.
Your rod and your staff
    protect and comfort me.
5 You prepare a feast for me
in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
    My cup overflows with blessings.
6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
    forever.
