Christianity

Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it can't be is moderately important -CSLewis

If I die and then perish, this is good news. But if I were to die and then suffer in hell eternally. Man this is bad news! This is so disturbing! Has any one really give some serious thought about it?

If God is just He cannot tolerate Sin. And If the universe is govern by Him,the final destiny of our soul will be at His mercy. Either we are with Him or against Him. There is no other place to hide from Him.(Genesis 3:8-9)

Mankind cannot hide from God.

Genesis 3:8-9
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
8 They heard the sound of (A)the Lord God walking in the garden in the [a]cool of the day, (B)and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, “(C)Where are you?” (Why are you hiding from me?)

Jeremiah 23:24
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
24 “Can a man (A)hide himself in hiding places
So I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
(B)Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.

The universe is rule by God. That is the Earth, Heaven and Hell. Earth is where our physical body dwell. Heaven and Hell is where the soul dwell.

Psalm 103:19
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
19 The Lord has established His (A)throne in the heavens,
And His [a](B)sovereignty rules over [b]all.

We cannot say we don't know God and hence being excuse from judgement. It is obvious that there is a God.

Romans 1:18-32
New Living Translation (NLT)
God’s Anger at Sin
18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.[a] 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Romans 2:14-15
New Living Translation (NLT)
14 Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it. 15 They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.

Joy in Heaven is eternal. Punishment in Hell is also eternal.

Matthew 25:46 (NASB95)
46 “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Christianity is not a religion. It is the truth. It cannot be ignored. And every one has to treat it seriously.

Matthew 18:8 (NASB95)
8 “If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire.

The Lord is to be fear. And it is good to fear the Lord for He is a friend to those who fear him.

Psalm 25:14
New Living Translation (NLT)
14 The Lord is a friend to those who fear him.
    He teaches them his covenant.

Psalm 34:9
New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Fear the Lord, you his godly people,
for those who fear him will have all they need.

God has the last say for the devil.

Revelation 20:10 (NASB95)
10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

God has the last say for those who refuses to believe in Him.

Rejecting Christ insults the Spirit who worked through Him (Matthew 12:31-32) and who testify of Him (John 16:8-11)

Hebrews 10:29 (NASB95)
29 How much severer punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled under foot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Matthew 12:31-32
New Living Translation (NLT)
31 “So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. 32 Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, either in this world or in the world to come.

John 16:8-11
New Living Translation (NLT)
8 And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment. 9 The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me. 10 Righteousness is available because I go to the Father, and you will see me no more. 11 Judgment will come because the ruler of this world has already been judged.

God has the last say for those who believes in Him.

Revelation 21:4
New Living Translation (NLT)
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

John 3:16
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
16 “For God so (A)loved the world, that He (B)gave His [a](C)only begotten Son, that whoever (D)believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
