We are unable to know God unless God reveal Himself to us

We are unable to know God unless God reveal Himself to us
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No one has seen God and live.
Exodus 33:20
New King James Version (NKJV)
20 But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.”
Therefore out of His overflowing love, God has manifest Himself as a man that we may know Him.
Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor.
Philippians 2:6-11
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
2 Corinthians 8:9
New King James Version (NKJV)
9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
Jesus Christ who is himself God in the form of man has revealed God to us.
John 1:18
New Living Translation (NLT)
18 No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God,[a] is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.
If you had known Christ, you would have known God also
John 14:7
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Father Revealed
7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
Only through Christ that we may know God and have eternal life.
John 17:3
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
God reveal His love towards us through Christ that we might live.
1 John 4:9
New King James Version (NKJV)
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
And yes indeed God have reveal Himself to us through His son Jesus Christ.
God lower Himself to become a man so that we may know God through Christ.
As was quoted in the scripture. "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also"
John 17:25-26
New King James Version (NKJV)
25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”
Shall we then dishonor Christ by saying we can know God by our own cognition? Never!
It can never be by our own cognition but by God's revealing.
If we are able to know God by our own cognition, why then must God manifest Himself as Christ?
God manifest Himself in Christ so that man would know Him.
And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:9-11
New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Can the clay choose the potter who made it? Or say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?"
Romans 9:20
New King James Version (NKJV)
20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
No you did not choose God. But God chose you. The supreme one get to decide who to be saved.
John 15:16
New King James Version (NKJV)
16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
Unless God reveal Himselves to us, we will never know who YAHWEH IS.
Not unto us oh Lord. Not unto us.
Psalm 115:1
New King James Version (NKJV)
115 Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy,
Because of Your truth.
The King has come. And have reveal Himself to us in the likeness of a man that we may know Him and worship Him. To God be all the glory !
