Before the glory of God

Before the glory of God
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Salvation is not about your glory.
Is it about God's glory.
Your total inability and dependent on Him highlight His sovereignty and ascribe to him the glory due Him.
Our God is a good God and king. However being good does not omit out the fact that we need to subject to His Kingship.
Psalms 115:3 NKJV
But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.
Isaiah 48:11 NKJV
For My own sake, for My own sake, I will do it; For how should My name be profaned? And I will not give My glory to another.
Job 9:12 NKJV
If He takes away, who can hinder Him? Who can say to Him, ‘What are You doing?’
Deuteronomy 6:4 NKJV
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one!
Before the presence of God and His glory , we will bow down.
We will submit to His sovereignty.
2 Chronicles 7
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
The Shekinah Glory
7 Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the house. 2 The priests could not enter into the house of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled the Lord’s house. 3 All the sons of Israel, seeing the fire come down and the glory of the Lord upon the house, bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave praise to the Lord, saying, “Truly He is good, truly His lovingkindness is everlasting.”
When Moses asked to see God’s glory, God hid Moses in the cleft of a rock, covered him with His hand, and passed by. Then He removed His hand, and Moses saw only His back. This would seem to indicate that God’s glory is too awesome and powerful to be seen completely by man.
