Blush Oh brethren blush!

Blush Oh brethren blush!
=====================

For some reason I felt it is shameful to show off my possession after having experience the joy of knowing Christ.

For some reason I started to blush when I heard the ambassador of Christ telling others that they can balance between success and spirituality.

What is success that it should be compared to Christ?

What is success that it should even be mentioned?

Success and spirituality are of a different league altogether.

It's like serving you a plate of cockroaches after you have tasted the choicest cuisine.

It's like you took your wife and you compare it with your computer game trying to maintain a balance between the two.

Do you not see how silly it sound?

When Christ is standing on one side of the scale, even if you put the whole universe on the other side, it will not move an inch.

Success has becomes a joke in the eyes of thoses who have found the infinite worth of knowing Christ.

Success has become an insult to many among christendom.

Success is the very scheme the devil used to entice our Lord.

Matthew 4:8-10 NKJV
Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

Do you not know that there are many brothers and sisters out there willing to give up their life for Christ?

Try telling them..

Do you want to taste some of these "success" brothers ?

Matthew 13:44 ESV
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Ecclesiastes 12:8 NKJV
“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher, “All is vanity.”

Don't you feel like puking when ever someone mention success to you?

Run run! My brethren from the pursuit of success as if you were running away from a plague.

Mark 10:29-30 ESV
Jesus said, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the age to come eternal life.
