Free Will (Part 2)

You can either be free or not free.
There is no in between.

If God is not free, then no creature will be free.
Since the creator itself is not free.

If God is free, then we have to determine what actually freedom means to God.

The Lord is in heaven and He does whatever He pleases. (Psalm 115:3)

He does whatever He pleases!
This is an astounding statement!

A title no one dare to claim but God himself.
If man are on earth, how sure are we that we are free?

To truly be free.
One must not have counter desires.

When a thief went stealing,is the thief having free will to steal?
Is stealing consider freedom?

If the thief is free from the sin of greed, why then would He steal?

To truly be free.
One must not be influenced by sin.

Surely there is much more than that to declare one is free.

If your will is free, you can truly be happy.
But because of our sin, we can't truly be happy.

Only God can truly be happy and satisfied in all that He do.

Colossians 1:19‭-‬20 NKJV
For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

If your will is free, you can truly be grieved.

We are so much tainted with sin, that our grieved are more often than not for our fleshly losses.
Seldom do we grieve because we have dishonor God.

Who can truly be grieved but God.

Isaiah 53:3 NKJV
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

If your will is free, you can truly love.

More often than not, we only find it easy to love thoses who loves us back.
But struggle to love thoses that are difficult to love.

Who can truly love but God?

John 15:13 NKJV
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

John 3:16 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

To say one have free will is truly mind boggling.
A title only but God is worthy to have.

The one who can exercise free will, the one who can do whatever He pleases, truly inspires our worship.
And there is none other than God who alone can exercise free will.

~Psalm 115:3
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.
