Free Will (Part 1)

Free will is not the the ability to do what you want.
Free will is doing the things that God wants.

For a will to be free, it must not have counter desires.
No man is ever certain of what he is doing.

Only God is ever certain of what He is doing.
Holiness is in the heart of free will.

Without holiness, no one can be free.
Free will is not deciding to drink a cup of water or walking from the left to the right.

Free will is drinking a cup of water to the glory of God.
Free will is walking from the left to the right to the glory of God.

Every steps that Jesus takes is for the Father's glory.
Everything that Jesus do is how can it be pleasing to God.

Free will is not gazing away from the direction of sin.
Free will is a detestation of Sin.

Sin is so much a part of us. That we sin every seconds without us even knowing it.
Our wills are tainted with sin.

By human definition we are free in our own ways. But not in the ways of God.
One could have Free will if one loves God with all his heart, mind, soul and strength.

Only the Lord Jesus Christ have Free will.
A will that is conform to that of the Father.

Luke 22:42 NKJV
“Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

John 5:19 NKJV
Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.

Matthew 3:17 NKJV
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Matthew 16:23 NKJV
But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

Matthew 4:10 NKJV
Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
