The greatness of agape love lies not on the person you love.
The greatness of
agape
love originated from the person that is showing the love.
It is the character of the one who loves that the greatness of it manifest.
If God loves us, how great will that love be indeed !
God loves us simply because He choose to love us.
And if God chooses, He will not falter.
God's choosing is free and absolute.
He is the epitome of true freedom.
He is free to choose because He is God.
And His ways are always right.
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand
Or say to Him, “What have You done?” (Daniel 4:35)
The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. (Psalm 145:17)
Gracious is the Lord, and righteous;
Yes, our God is merciful (Psalm 116:5)
Nothing in my hands I bring.
Simply to thy love I cling.
The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you..
